The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time world title holder Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I will really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making massive paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul met for the traditional stare-down, with their physical disparity evident, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really proceeding.
