Ex- British Broadcasting Corporation Specialists Undergo Parliamentary Questioning Following Allegations of Partiality in Leaked Memorandum

She opens by giving background to the disclosed memo written by Michael Prescott and printed in the Telegraph.
"I don't want the British Broadcasting Corporation tilting toward one side or the other, I simply desire it neutral, unbiased and fair," he says.
Upon being questioned whether he considers the British Broadcasting Corporation is structurally prejudiced, he responds: "Absolutely not. It is important to note, numerous aspects the British Broadcasting Corporation creates is exceptional - including factual and fictional programming."
But he adds: "There exists substantial tasks that needs to be done at the BBC."
The second previous consultant BBC specialist examined by the committee, Caroline Daniel, remarks she takes the British Broadcasting Corporation very seriously and that it maintains a "persistent practice and active debate" on fluid and multifaceted issues.
"Did the BBC willing to engage in a proper discussion and debate and act accordingly?" she reflects. "In my view, affirmative, they were."
